India's corona virus lockdown has taken toll on migrant and neglected communities as they are facing chaos and hunger under current situation.

As many of you know, it's been 7 years Rostrum India Social Organisation (RISO) is working for migrant and neglected community peoples around Pune City, mainly at construction sites to provide them Health and Education and awareness on different social issues.

Since team RISO is working for their empowerment at different locations of Pune (Bavdhan, Kondhwa and Undri) we are constantly in touch with construction site workers and based on their current situation, we have decided to provide them grocery packages and other essentials during this lockdown period to support them.

Imagine a library in the village, a place where villegers of different age groups will get books as per their intrest. This also helps rural children to learn reading and enjoy books. Imagine the feeling of satisfaction at knowing you've made a difference to this people's lives. Reading is essential for all it helps to develop initiative, originality of character, as well as providing varied intertainment and invaluable knowledge.

Reading also opens new possiblities and instills good values, laying the foundation for a better tomorrow. Through your donation and support Team RISO is working on "RISO Library" to set up small libraries across the state of Maharashtra.

Donate amount will be used for Furniture, infrastructure, to buy books and for librarian's salary. This is the largest rural reading initiative and will benefit almost 1,00,000 villegers in the age group 5 to 50 years.

RISO Library is not just a library- It will be a free study centre for a villege level students. At RISO library, the team will support and guide villege level students to prepare for competitive exams. Through this we are working to promote reading habits and provide quality books for all. Your donation helps us to make this possible.

Through project "Educare", the RISO team is helping ,migrant and underpriviledged children to get quality education which they deserv. The funds collected through this donation will help us in assisting a child in getting quality nutritious food. This will also help motivate the parents to send the children to school by reducing the financial burden on them and motivates them to send their children regularly to school. This costs us Rs. 4,800 p. a for a child.

General Fund is created and maintained by our NGO to cover general expenses not specific to project/cause/need. This helps cover expenses vital to the running of the organization Expenses such as administrative expenses, various overheads are paid from the general funds. Most NGOs maintain a general fund to help them meet the donation gap created when donors donate only to a specific project or any unexpected expenses which may arises during the course of running the organization.

Corpus Fund is considered to be the capital of the organization. The fund is generated and kept by us for the sustenance and existence of the organization. The Corpus Fund is of paramount importance to the organization as it helps during the times of distress. Only the interest/dividend earned from it is accumulated or utilized for general purposes. It is required for the smooth sustenance of the organization. We are currently trying to build a corpus fund of 12 months of expenditure of the organization there by ensuring a smooth sustenance. It will help to reduce financial vulnerability and thereby help us to achieve our goal.
